The story of Uche Ndubizu and his Journey to the American Idol live shows | 2019 |Season 17

Uche is a 24-year-old Nigerian-American singer who is currently competing on season 17 of American Idol. He grew up in “small town” Minnesota and later moved to Houston, Texas where he was originally born. Uche first started performing as a dancer and actor at the age of 11 while he was still living in Minnesota.
A few years later, Uche began singing in his high school and church choir but admits he never felt quite at home when performing as part of a group. It wasn’t until Uche began performing as a solo artist that he really started to feel at home on stage.
